c£90,000 plus bonus and benefits.
The Client is a division of PLC group, a multi-site manufacturer with c£100 million turnover operating in a highly competitive marketplace and currently undergoing a business transformation programme. This is a divisional Board appointment working closely with and as a strong commercial partner to the Managing Director, carrying responsibility for all the financial aspects of the division whilst at the same time being strongly involvement in the General Management issues facing the business.
There is an experienced accounts team in place and the role will also involve working closely with the Head of IT. You will need to be a graduate qualified ACA or ACMA with a strong background in manufacturing businesses and have had first hand experience in change management programmes. You will have built your career in a world class manufacturing business, combine a hands on with a strategic approach and enjoy being involved in the non-financial areas.
You will have a strength in simplifying and making reporting systems relevant, be capable of implementing effective KPI’s in each of the operating business units and have a challenging persuasive approach designed to achieve positive outcomes for the division going forward. As a member of the Divisional Board you will be expected to make a significant strategic contribution and the scope to make an impact on the business is very real. There is some flexibility on the package as there is with location along the M4 corridor.
