Job Description

A new role has been created to head up regulatory reporting for this market-leading, insurance company. The initial focus will be on working with the actuarial and finance teams to improve Solvency II reporting, control and process and upskilling the BAU reporting team on all regulatory reporting matters. The role will also lead IFRS17 implementation as well as taking the lead on any improvements required to current technical reporting and control.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working with reserving actuaries, take the lead on Solvency II Pillar 3 quarterly Returns
  • Take the lead on IFRS17 implementation
  • Manage delivery of audit, including actuarial deliverables and lead on audit and Plc finance interactions
  • Provide technical training and support to finance and actuarial teams
  • Deputise for Finance Director as required
  • Working with the actuarial team, provide challenge and insight on reserve surplus generation, margin and risk pricing
  • Embed new systems and processes to deliver robust SII and regulatory reporting
  • Assist with regulatory and other insurance technical reporting requirements as needed by the Financial Reporting & Control team
