This is a superb career opportunity for a proven professional Sales Manager to lead an experienced team to higher levels of performance and grow market share for a well-established highly respected well known branded company. Our client is an SME with a long history and strong market presence with a nationally recognised name. It is privately owned and it manufactures specialist furniture used within commercial environments. Reporting to the board and forming part of the senior leadership team, the role involves the leadership of an experienced team of 5 regional Sales Managers. You will focus on mentoring and coaching the team and developing winning sales strategies that will lead to market share growth. The potential of the business is enormous with significant contract values being possible and the customer base includes care homes, specialist retail, public sector environments, NHS and commercial organisations. The client is looking to appoint a proven sales manager, graduate qualified on an upward trajectory in their career who would like to seize this opportunity and make it to Board level within the short to medium term. You will need to demonstrate a progressive career in sales in B2B manufactured products and clearly whilst specialist furniture experience would be advantageous, other areas of interest could include the broad spectrum of building interiors products and fittings. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and people management skills and have a strong coaching mentoring style.
