Financial Controller Would you like to join an exciting Private Equity backed business as a Financial Controller with strong growth plans so leading to opportunities for progression within the organisation in the medium term? Our client is an innovative business in the technology space who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager/Controller to be the Financial Controller in their Stratford Upon Avon offices. The Financial Controller will come into a hands on role and with support of assistants will lead the company's financial accounting, reporting and control activities across the group of companies in this small but growing successful business. Key responsibilities will include: Develop procedures and processes to support the efficient management of the company's finances Production of a monthly management account pack for all companies including comparative reports, financial position and variance explanations. Production of monthly forecast - in advance working with department heads Management of the day to day cash flow and control of WIP To set budgets; manage the financial activities against budget Preparation of audit files and liaison with external auditors Liaison with bankers and control of monies Preparation of Payroll, PAYE & NIC and submit information to statutory authorities including HMRC Oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues Manage the work and development of team members The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who has the ability to work independently and be able to make sound and reasoned judgements. You will have sound analytical, planning and organisational skills to ensure delivery within a high pressured environment. You will also have sound and up to date knowledge of UK GAAP and UK tax legislation. Corporate Finance Director Would you like to work with one of the leading international accountancy firms in the world, with one of the strongest Corporate Finance teams in the Midlands? Our client seeks to strengthen their team with a highly experienced Corporate Finance Director with senior level exposure and relationships, ideally (but not essential) within the Midlands market place. As Corporate Finance Director you will obviously play a key role working closely with the partners on business development, pitching for new deals, analysis of market activity as well as responsibility for day to day management control of transactions. You will join a well established team advising a range of impressive clients on M&A and capital raising transactions. As Corporate Finance Director you will work on a variety of different types of clients, from PE backed, trade, public and private companies. The team has particular experience of engaging with overseas buyers too. The team also has specialist expertise in a number of key sectors, which acts as a real differentiator and competitive advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to have gained a Professional Qualification, ie ACA, CFA. Your transaction experience may either have been built within the profession, boutique, banking or potentially industry. Our client will either consider someone who is already operating at a Director level or is now ready for that step upwards.
