Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Family Office London* Our client is a small single Family Office of a private Entrepreneur, looking for a well-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) CFO or financially oriented COO to look after the financial management of a broad range of assets The most significant segment is a diverse and international residential property portfolio but responsibilities will include a private art collection, cars based in various international locations, vineyard, agricultural sites and various other assets. *The role will be based in London but one day a week will require presence in the Family's country office. The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of Finance and Risk, Cash Management, Mortgages, Dividends and Tax and with the family interests covering the UK, Europe and the US, international tax understanding is important. They will be an effective organisational leader with the ability to win hearts and minds of all stake holders. They will be responsible for the day to day running as well as able to offer creative and strategic business ideas. They will require strong emotional intelligence and social competence. Whilst they will not be required to manage a team, an exceptional staff management background would be of benefit. The successful candidate will be responsive and comfortable working in a fast paced environment at times, and will need to be particularly sensitive to the importance of confidentiality. In addition to the commercial activities the successful candidate will be expected to act in a private advisory role to the business owners, including overseeing management systems, cost control, HR, tax planning and annual budgets. They will be responsible for the formulation and management of annual budgets and targets, Strategic-planning and marketing with a focus on cost efficiency, driving margins and bottom line profit. Tasks will include: Tax planning and compliance Family matters Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the family may enter. Ensure that all management and statutory reporting of the results of all financial affairs of the families activities are delivered on a timely basis and in accordance with best practice Submit annual budgets and reporting of actual costs for all property activities and drive strong and robust cost efficiency Responsible for all tax planning and compliance across the given areas of responsibility Provide clear advisory direction on all private matters such as charitable trusts and all other personal and private matters as they arise Treasury A degree in Finance/Accounting Qualifications are desirable along with experience of working alongside a successful entrepreneur. Due to the level of interest in this position, we will only be able to respond to the most closely matching candidate applications. Salary: £100/150k depending on experience.
