Job Description: My client is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering practice, specialising in the protection of structures in secure environments. The successful candidate will be heading up a secure multi-disciplined team, working on international projects. The role would be to primarily develop/expand our small Building Services department in the secure specialist marketplace we operate. The company's services are focused on unusual, and often unique, built environments, therefore, the engineering requirements can be complex and technically challenging. Key Requirements: UK Security Clearance at DV level is a requirement - Clearance is unlikely to be obtained unless you are a UK National / British Citizen with a minimum of 5 years UK residency. Chartered Engineer; Excellent management and inter-personal skills; Strong business development skills; Excellent project delivery and report writing skills. Initially, and the successful candidate would be expected to familiarise themselves with our current projects, staff, clients, Quality Assurance System (QMS), security protocols, along with fee proposals and current management processes within the Building Services department. After the Probationary Period of 6-months, the candidate would take over responsibility for the performance and profitability of the department. At the end of your 6-month probationary period the successful candidate would produce a straightforward Business Expansion Plan for the following 12 months. The candidate would be expected to attend training to expand their knowledge of the Security Engineering Services we offer. This training would be multi-disciplined.
