Group Financial Controller - Central London Consumer Additions are currently working in partnership with a leading Travel business, who are looking to identify a Group Financial Controller to join their successful team based in Central London. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Group Financial Controller opportunity is a varied role with involvement in all aspects of finance, and has broad exposure to senior stakeholders and executive level. Senior Commercial Finance Manager - Central London Consumer Additions are currently partnering with an iconic British retail/wholesale business based in London. We are exclusively engaged to find a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to report directly into the Finance Director. The business has steadily been increasing sales and has revenues of over £100m. They have shown significant overseas growth through standalone stores and franchising as well as investing in wholesale and global ecommerce channels. This role will be responsible for partnering with non-finance stakeholders and will be involved with delivering a 3 year plan, driving the commercial teams from a financial perspective. If the successful candidate delivers within the role there is the potential for fast track career development. The successful candidate will have a successful track record of business partnering, step changing all reporting and processes and delivering commercial insight. Role Responsibilities: Forecasting, reporting and delivery of sales and gross margin reporting Partner with Merchandising and Sales & Operations teams to provide, manage and forecast Group sales plan Analyse and advise on sales and promotional activity by department/ markdown strategy Support the business through the seasonal buying process. Key analysis of COGS End-to-end ownership of Gross Margin. To monitor, report and challenge on the volume and value of stock levels Manage the delivery of the three year plan across the business levels. Business partner with non finance regarding strategies and delivery of long range plans, annual plans and reforecasts Help support Merchandising teams to build and improve stock reporting across the Group Provide accurate and timely information that drives business decisions. Support on tender process with new suppliers. Assist with other areas of commercial analysis Candidate Requirements Qualified accountant (or overseas equivalent) Experience of commercial finance within a retail/wholesale or FMCG business Strategic & operational mindset Ability to partner with senior non finance partners Ideally 6+ years PQE with experience Experienced manager (1 direct report) Grounding in management accounts.
