Becoming a Senior Finance Manager with Capita IT Services An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide financial management and stewardship to a Updata WAN business which is part of the Capita Networking Solutions business unit within Capita plc. *This role is based in our central London head office & would require some travel to our Reigate office.* What you will do: The role reports to the FD who in turn reports to the Portfolio Finance Director for Capita Networking Solutions. Ensuring timely processing and appropriate approvals of supplier invoices as well as prompt actions around dealing with queries that have been escalated from a service line. Run regular exception reports, ensuring general house-keeping of project data is up to date, e.g. timely closure of completed projects. Commercial feedback Produce contract lifetime forecasts with support from the business Provide support for changes made to services provided and guiding proposed changes into financial models and forecasts. Manage changes made to the underlying revenue and costs through the commercial change process. Your experience will include: Essential Desire to take ownership of processes or specific areas within the finance team and work independently. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain what the numbers mean to stakeholders outside the finance team. Holding a recognised Professional Accountancy qualification such as CIMA/ACCA or in final exam stages. Strong Excel skills Attention to detail but also being able to see the "bigger picture". Senior Business Development Manager Home Based with UK wide travel Salary up to £80k depending on experience + 10% Car Allowance + Bonus - OTE £95k-£100k Becoming a Senior Business Development Manager with Capita Remediation Services: We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager to join Capita Remediation Services. The Senior Business Development Manager will be accountable for the management of designated major account(s) which require strategic partnership focus. The role will primarily involve generating new business from the accounts within the portfolio to meet agreed revenue targets and developing and executing the strategic sales approach. The role is a senior role within the BD team and will lead strategic relationships for designated clients, potentially across the Capita group. This position has no direct reports. The role includes regular travel UK wide to client sites and other Capita offices and reports to the Business Development Director. What you will do: Secure revenue to meet your agreed personal revenue target supported by identification of suitable pipeline opportunities for CRS. Qualify opportunities, overseeing all parts of the bid and sales process to ensure a consistent approach to the client. Develop, maintain and execute a strategic account plan (SAP) for all clients in the portfolio. Develop a sales plan and be accountable for its delivery to ensure required customer engagement activity is taking place. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to widen the reach of CRS within designated client organisations. Lead the relationship across Capita Group (for designated clients only) identifying new opportunities and liaising with Capita colleagues to resolve issues Possess a comprehensive understanding of CRS Consulting and Delivery services and the mechanisms by which these are delivered, including technology, pricing, operations and organisation. Maintain ISO compliance and quality management documentation for all processes Identify, evaluate and report risks to your line manager Make suggestions for improvement and complete preventive actions Comply with FCA Regulations and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles (where applicable) Your experience will include: Business Development / Sales experience working within either Financial Services, Pensions, Insurance or Retail Banking is essential for this role. A good network of senior contacts within the above sectors is essential. Proven exceptional sales achievements, preferably within the remediation market. 5+ years of relevant experience within a financial services environment, preferably with direct experience of a broad range of Life and Pensions/Banking functions. Familiarity with the UK Financial Services market including market trends, legislation, regulation and competitor offers Knowledge of client relationship / sales strategies and concepts within a business to business environment Outstanding organisational, time management, analytical and interpersonal skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills IT literate - proficient in use of MS Office to at least an intermediate standard.
