Senior Project Manager / Delivery Manager (Software, eCommerce/Retail) - nr Blackburn Senior Project manager / IT Delivery Manager with excellent stakeholder management skills sought with a background in delivering complex software and IT systems and applications by this leading eCommerce retail based organisation. With a focus on Delivery, you will be involved at a high level in leading and driving the effective delivery of the companies IT project portfolio. This will involve forecasting and forward planning of resource and skills, allocating deliverable and taking ownership of complex projects You will be proactively partnering key stakeholders within the business, leading and driving a collaborative and continuous improvement service as well as driving team development; maximising personal performance and team potentials You will also be managing and monitoring the performance of current systems and providing end to end ownership of these, ensuring IT based solutions and systems align with the overall IT architectural road map. These will be delivered in a cross-team environment and could involve in functions such as retail eCommerce, financial services, customer engagement and operations. Ideally you will have an interest in Agile based delivery (although this is not essential) and will be able to demonstrate the delivery of large scale Software Development and IT driven projects, within a stakeholder driven business environment, and have a good understanding of the full development life cycle. Will suit an experienced project manager with a track record of delivering IT ideally with a strong technical background and an interest in taking ownership of complex projects leading to innovative product and systems driven change within the organisation. Key Responsibilities Gathering requirements from key stakeholders and working with cross-functional teams to deliver desired solutions.
