A new opportunity has arisen for a solutions focused Project Manager to come in and help deliver technology projects, work with key stakeholders and suppliers and deliver key IT solutions and projects. - mainly into the Retail space. Ideally you will have an IT solutions delivery background and will be working on multiple technology projects - working with both internal and external stakeholders, operations teams and key suppliers. As a results driven, analytically minded, data savvy and customer focused project manager, you'll have the ability to understand business needs, influence stakeholders and take the lead on projects. Key experience required includes; project management, previous project leadership, documenting business cases, scheduling, risk and process management and the ability to lead and influence stakeholders. Previous IT solutions delivery within a Retail environment / experience of working on projects in the Tech sector would be an advantage for this role. This role is a newly created role and the company will be relying on your expertise to guide and make strategic choices around PR execution and strategy. With 120 staff and plans to double in the near future this company is in a high growth mode. You will need to feel comfortable working in a fast paced and ever changing environment where you are a critical team member of the business. Although they have stability and history they see themselves as innovators and have the mentality of a fast paced start up. You will have: 5+ years in a Senior PR role. This can be either agency or client side. Experience working in a regulated industry such as: finance or insurance. Experience developing and implementing external company communications. Strong copy writing experience and the ability to write white papers, press releases, blogs and CEO updates. Strong connections with media professions and journalists preferably within business or B2B. Experience managing freelances or external agencies. Managed companies social network channels and have a strong understanding on how to elevate engagement and company awareness. Be responsible for new business development within your designated territory, including closing sales and working with referral partners and lead generators. Proactively generate leads from cold calling, personal networks, events, seminars, conferences, or any other relevant activity. Attend appointments with companies and potential referrers to present our proposition and to promptly respond to referrals. Share best practice in increasing effectiveness of client screening and sales meetings. Influence, persuade, sell to and negotiate with senior management teams of target companies. Extra support may be provided e.g. technical, legal or financial; Follow best practise guidelines/process notes for each stage of the sales pipeline. Contact leads provided within 24hrs. Arrange on-site screening visits with the prospect or, as appropriate, a telephone call. Prepare for the screening meeting by researching the company to gain an understanding of their business. Screen prospective clients in line with eligibility criteria and submit fully completed forms via company CRM Provide prospects with feedback of screening decision Send out contracts and offer to talk through the terms and conditions. Expedite return of signed contracts through regular follow up with the company and where required, helping them understand the contract with explanation of key contractual clauses Build and maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using our CRM system; populate it with contacts, leads, opportunities and account management information. Participate in PR, events, or campaigns in conjunction with our marketing team.
