An exceptional opportunity has arisen within a renowned central London private bank for a Head Of Banking Operations. The purpose of the role will be to ensure that the Banking Operations function is carried out efficiently whilst reaching or exceeding the Bank's high customer service standards and always remaining compliant. Applicants will have a thorough understanding of banking administration, securities, treasury settlements and payments with a proven track record of managing and implementing change and process improvement and the timely delivery of business objectives, whilst anticipating, developing and deploying strategic and tactical solutions. Duties to include: Line management for the Banking Administration, Investment Middle Office, Treasury Settlements / Payments and Tax Operations departments Ensuring that systems and controls remain appropriate and fit for purpose, according to the department Ensuring that technical & operational procedures and business continuity plans are maintained regularly Support the COO in managing the relationship with and oversight of outsourcing arrangements ensuring that performance levels are met, PRA regulations are met and that a productive relationship is maintained. Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure that issues raised are dealt with. Assisting with the forecasting of operational budget costs for each department, monitor costs on an ongoing basis, and ensure that actual costs remain in line with budget. Produce reports for management committee meetings Manage change from a regulatory or product perspective Overseeing the professional development of direct reports. The successful candidate will have excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively engage with / present to management committee and other stakeholders as well as manage supplier relationships. You will demonstrate recent, relevant experience in managing operational departments, as well as implementing process change and managing projects. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills together with the ability to oversee the framework for third parties / suppliers and outsourcing. To £75K + EX BENS + EX BONUS A specialist lender based in Central London is looking to expand their team with the addition of an excellent Business Development Manager who specialises in Property Lending ( Residential Development). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business within all facets of property to include new builds, restructuring, refurbishment etc. This is an amazing opportunity to grow a new growing area of the company's existing business - candidates must be able to demonstrate strong networking with established clients and have an existing client book. Duties include; Property lending development, generating new business and maintaining established portfolio Negotiating and structuring of proposals to send to Credit Committee before approval Develop applications to drawdown Regular contact with brokers, solicitors, clients, and valuers - ensuring that valuations and reports comply with bank procedures and following quickly on those that don't The successful candidate will hold a minimum of 5 years experience from a Proper ty Lending background, more specifically Residential Development .
