Position: Business Development Manager - IT Hardware Location: Dorset/South UK (home or office based) Salary: £25k to £30k basic with £60k OTE plus benefits Yellow Bridge Recruitment are supporting their IT hardware reseller client in the search for a sales person to join their expanding team. This organisation sells to the private sector, public sector, and reseller market. The opportunity exists to progress to a management position of a local/regional office once the successful candidate is established in the position. Role Overview - To generate new accounts via business development activities. - To present to senior level stakeholders for solutions from single pieces of hardware, to full IT infrastructures. - Manage new and existing accounts, ensuring an excellent relationship is maintained. - Create clearly defined revenue and growth targets, with a view to meeting and exceeding them. - Liaise with technical teams to facilitate efficient architecture design and deployment. - Possess a working knowledge of core IT products, ranging from desktops to servers. Candidate Profile - A background in B2B IT new business development and account management. - Entrepreneurial, with a goal-driven hunter mentality. - Likeable, persuasive and able to make things happen. - Keen in helping clients solve problems with technology. - Comfortable interacting with Directors and C-level executives. - Excellent at communicating in written and spoken English. - UK Work eligibility - Full UK Driving License. The successful applicant will be rewarded with a salary of up to £30,000pa basic, with a £60k OTE, car and benefits. The role is home/field/office based, so with the client head office being based on the South Coast, the role is commutable from Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Weymouth, Dorchester, Blandford, Salisbury, Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham and Winchester to name a few locations.
