SF Group are working with a private equity firm to find an experienced Chief Financial Officer for one of their more significant portfolio businesses in Birmingham. The business works in the IT space and has strong recurring revenue streams. Put simply we are looking for a strong CFO that has previously worked at a senior level, ideally within a leveraged or PE backed IT / service sector business. Ideally you will have undertaken this role in a stand-alone organisation with no over-arching treasury department - you therefore will have been responsible for managing covenants associated with senior debt, have undertaken at least one refinancing project and then, following a period of turnover / EBITDA growth, exited a business, crystallising value for shareholders. We will consider candidates from a PLC or owner-managed / high net worth background but our preference is for candidates who fit the brief above. We are also looking for candidates that live within a realistic commute of the Birmingham area and precedence will be given to candidates who live locally rather than those who would be living away from home or relocating. A generous financial package and equity arrangement will be offered to ensure the right candidate is incentivised to deliver.

It is expected that your key drivers and focus will be on customer management, customer satisfaction and the performance of key stakeholders As a senior memeber you will have prior experience successfully managing multi-million pound projects within a Heavy Engineering Manufacturing environment assuming responsibility for completion on time and within budget. Furthermore, you will have experience in end to end programme management handling multiple projects in parallel, demonstrating previous experience in managing stakeholders, risk and resolving unforeseen problems. Be responsible for management of large complex Projects within the Oil and Gas Business dealing with complex Pump Skid Packages which consist of Motors, Sealing Systems, Lube Oil Systems, Gearboxes, Variable Frequency Drives, Control Panels and overall Automation. Proven track record of dealing with high value clients/contractors such as Petrofac, Shell, Total, Cameron, Worley Parsons, Technip to name a few with knowledge of specifications requirements. Exemplary mitigation record of achieving negotiations of variations orders and liquidated damages claims. Highly effective communicator at all levels, motivated, enthusiastic, professional, commercially focussed with strong interpersonal skills whilst being a strong team player.
