Over at SF Group, we are working with a significantly sized service division of a global business to find them a commercially credible Finance Director. The division in question has revenues of c£400m across a raft of PFI supply contracts - in the main, these are significantly profitable contracts but need to be managed and maintained such that our client retains these contracts as and when they are re-tendered. Equally, a proportion of these contracts are not delivering sufficient profits and so may need to be renegotiated when an opportunity presents itself. The scenario above means that we are looking for a candidate that has significant experience of working in an outsourcing environment under PFI arrangements - this element is not negotiable. We are also after someone that is used to being in front of customers and negotiating prices alongside Sales and Managing Directors. If you have previously worked as Finance Director in a sizeable PFI service sector business and are not phased by the degree of commercial involvement required, please get in touch.
