Are you a qualified accountant who is highly experienced in leading a team of qualified and transactional staff within a busy shared service centre? This is a great opportunity to join a globally renowned media company on a fixed term basis, managing the cash and financial accounting functions. This leading media company is responsible for bringing internationally acclaimed content to our screens and continues to have success after success with their television content! Reporting to the Director this position will manage the financial accounting function for the UK entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and managing multiple stakeholder relations. This is a 12-18 month contract The role: Supervise and manage a team of 12 people via 2 direct reports, with a mixed group of qualified and transactional staff Oversee and review the financial/statutory accounting including the balance sheets (reconciliations, analytics), financial reporting packs, VAT, intercompany, hedging and bank reconciliations Ensure the reporting packs are completed in a timely and efficient manner and making sure timetables are adhered too, whilst managing parent company relationships Review the FX result for the UK and ensure exposure is minimised Ensure statutory accounts and VAT returns are submitted Key role in reviewing financial systems and projects Responsible for overseeing and approving funding and investing activities Ensure new accounting policies are implemented, adhered too and documented accordingly Review and oversee the Accounts Payable function, dealing with an escalated issues Manage year-end end audit process. The person: Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) Strong technical accounting background and thorough understanding of IFRS Strong attention to detail and deadline orientated Strong managerial skills and demonstrated stakeholder management Advanced Excel; Solution orientated, team player, self-motivated and driven Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience of SAP would be an advantage

Working alongside the Director of Partnerships and Media and a range of external agencies, you will advise on all aspects of Digital Marketing, driving innovation, implementing best practice and executing the digital strategy across all businesses. You will be the primary contact for all digital media partners, developing relationships that can help develop valued, creative marketing solutions. Take the lead on all global divisional discussions around digital media, data and strategy and educate marketing teams on new trends and media opportunities. An independent production company which specialises in premium quality film and television projects, is seeking a Director of Content on a 12 month maternity contract. The Director of Content will lead a team, producing everything from linear programs for YouTube, content for social media, and a wide range of graphic design and other assets. The company is privately owned and is experiencing rapid expansion, primarily due to the success of its globally renowned and BAFTA nominated pre-school program. The successful Director of Content will play a significant leadership role in driving the company's content activity, helping to achieve its global content strategy vision, alongside growing and nurturing audiences in an ever-evolving tech-forward and brand-safe digital ecosystem. Working closely with the Marketing, Finance, Licensing and Design teams, you will be responsible for all content outside of TV production, ensuring that the values of the companies hit pre-school project are met and delivered, in addition to managing budgets, setting and achieving revenue targets, and ensuring that these are aligned with broader commercial objectives, all whilst driving digital excellence across all content developed.
