Senior Project Manager Perm Role Location of project SW postcode area you will be based on site Salary £90k-£110k dep on experience plus package 42.5 hours per week Reason for the role due to growth To manage a large site-based team and take overall site control of the delivery of a single large project consisting of nearly 900 new homes with impressive levels of high spec resident amenity facilities, including two roof top swimming pools and cinema/screening rooms etc. The project is based in the LBW Nine elms area and consists of two separated buildings from 10 to 18 storeys in height with a quality brick and terracotta façade. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have experience in leading on all construction matters through all stages of design, procurement and construction; focusing on the delivery of the project to a high quality in terms of Safety, workmanship, programme and within agreed budgets. The project is residential lead and requires a sustained programme of delivery and handover of units to the client so candidates will need to have a proven track record in long term resi project delivery from site commencement to a point where at least 50% of the handovers have taken place or to completion where possible. The programme is approximately 4+ years and candidates should consider this when applying as we need commitment to providing consistent leadership with proven long term delivery. Ensure all health & safety plans are produced and maintained and the Site Manager implements relevant procedures. Maintain personal health and safety by following company guidelines. Act as the health & safety interface with third parties. Attend quarterly health & safety forums and communicate to the project team. Attend health & safety training and maintain the minimum level of qualification the position requires. Liaise with the client's health and safety representatives and agents. Oversee construction, ensuring works are carried out to meet , NHBC and building control standards, are in accordance with the drawing specification and contract documents, and the highest standards of quality and workmanship are maintained. Produce Project Programmes, communicate these to site teams to implement, and regularly monitor and report on progress. Lead the development and production of Scope of Works. Attend and contribute to package and procurement reviews. Assist the Technical Manager with design coordination and buildability, and attend design meetings to ensure complete and correct information is issued. Lead and monitor the installation of utilities. Oversee and monitor requisition of materials and plant, and the schedule and call off of deliveries by the site team. Monitor implementation of site QA procedures. Assist in the appointment of subcontractors during the construction and tender phase and assess suitability of: Health & Safety, Quality, Programme compliance, Design and procurement resources. Develop, manage and maintain good working relationships with the client to uphold the company reputation and brand. Ensure good knowledge of contract ER's of third parties. Produce the monthly project reports for client meetings. Monitor, report and action client extras and variations. A track record of successful delivery of projects. Experience across a variety of construction types, but with a hi spec residential biase. Proven experience of managing a team of people. The ability to control costs, timing and quality, in line with targets. Appropriate CSCS card. SMSTS certificate. First Aid at Work certificate. Valid driving licence. Educated to degree level or industry equivalents Basic knowledge of ASTA Power Project - Desirable. MCIOB - Desirable. Broad range of construction experience including main contract and mixed tenure private/affordable apartment developments - Desirable. A strong manager; highly organised and dedicated to meeting site deadlines. Ability to oversee and manage a large mixed discipline site team. Ability to present plans clearly and concisely and in ways that ensure understanding. Reporting to the Port Operations Director the Head of Civil Engineering supports the development of the London Gateway Port and Logistics Park. Responsible for the management of design, procurement and overall construction activities, ensuring that works are delivered to the highest quality, technical standards and are within budget and timescales. This is one of the UKs biggest infrastructure projects and has been nationally recognised on multiple occasions by the Institution of Engineers. The total spend to date is £1.5 billion with ongoing expansion works continuing. To lead and support the Civil Engineering team who manage Project Design and Construction Teams (Architects/ Engineers/Cost Consultants/Environmentalists/ Contractors). Apportioning accountability to ensure the projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality expected for a high class port and park. Logistics Park Project Manager Perm Role Location for the role is Stanford Le Hope, Essex Salary £63k + Discretionary bonus Reason for the role due to growth and project acelleration The Logistics Park Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of the Logistics Park buildings, working closely with the Head of Civil Engineering, Property Development and Estate Managers and for managing and coordinating project delivery teams through external projects managers. They will be required to manage multiple ongoing and new projects. Due to continued development we are now looking for an additional experienced Project Manager to join our Engineering team. This role will manage the project design and construction teams (architects/engineers/cost consultants/contractors) and liaise with the planning, building, environment, commercial, engineering as well as other internal team members to ensure all buildings projects are delivered to company and JV requirements.
