Senior Business Analyst - Data Management project - As a Senior Business Analyst, you will take responsibility for overseeing all business analysis activities within the Business Engagement work stream of a Data Management project - Conduct business analysis for the Business Engagement work stream throughout the lifecycle of the project. - Document the 'to be' data technology foundation process's and associated business roles - Assess impacts of the 'to be' data governance solution to the business; including the approach to roll out. - Document the 'to be' data governance process's and associated business roles - Assess impacts of the processes / solution for migration of 'as is' data for the business; including the approach to roll out. - Document the migration of 'to be' data process's and associated business roles. - Own the Business Engagement work stream for the Data Management Project; conducting change impact assessment, representing the project at stakeholder decision making forums and completing all PMO governance. - Lead and host workshops with business users and the project. - Support the Project Manager with planning of the Data Management project. - Provide coaching to the team of Business Analysts to ensure best practice is applied. Skills Set: - A Senior Business Analyst with a substantial portfolio of IT projects behind them where they have been responsible for leading the business analysis (Data Management experience is a huge advantage). - Experience of working with all levels of stakeholders within an organisation and their third-party suppliers and partners - Confident communicator, trainer and facilitator Desirable: - Advanced use of Microsoft 365 toolset,; Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint and specifically SharePoint - Professional Services specific industry experience GCS Computer Recruitment Services is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.

Technical Project Manager My client is a high-frequency proprietary trading firm, that are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their Production Engineering team. The Production Engineering division is responsible for providing innovative processes and tools for the operation of my client's high-frequency trading platforms. Responsibilities: Managing the scope of software-driven projects within Dev, Pre-Production, and Production teams Coordinating and controlling the execution of other support groups' tasks during release activities Planning and coordinating activities for physical work in a data center (physical hardware and network installations) as well as application layer and general concepts for network/server configurations Providing services, where necessary, to help product and project teams manage and deploy releases into production Managing risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality Leading and coordinating the Go-Live activities including release reviews, pre-deployment meetings, and checklist reviews Acting as a liaison between all technology departments, understanding requirements, and influencing new standards and processes Participating in release, project, and program retrospectives as well as providing detail on inefficiencies, mistakes, successes, and proposed improvements Generating and maintaining accurate project documentation and project plans (MS Project/JIRA/Confluence, etc.) Engaging in internal and external meetings to gather project requirements and preparing detailed summaries to share with the engineering, operations, and trading teams Qualifications: Experience with project management Knowledge of Unix and Microsoft OS administration Experience with databases such as MySQL Familiarity with networking Knowledge of a programming language (Java or C++) a plus Knowledge of a scripting language (Shell or Python) a plus Knowledge of Colo design (a plus) GCS Computer Recruitment Services is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
