Ruby Group are recruiting for a well-known £500 mn turnover international telecommunication firm based near Canary Wharf who require a permanent Head of Treasury to start on a 1-year fixed term project (with a completion bonus) with a permanent transfer at any time during the year. The role will involve an overhaul of function from ground zero and the opportunity to develop and mould a treasury function. You will have full responsibility for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions (of circa 5 members) and need to have previous experience of managing these areas. The business has been through some major change which has left some ambiguity in certain areas and the investment committee has committed to continuous growth and supporting the implementation of positive change. There will be daily interaction with key people within the senior management team including the Group FC, CFO and CEO. This is not a creative head of treasury role with large-scale strategic and transformational blue sky planning. It is a hands-on and transactional treasury role with; cash flow forecasting, funding, credit line provision, development of international cash-pooling automation, backlog clearance, team motivation and essentially being the link that holds the finance function together. The ideal Head of Group Treasury will possess the following attributes/skills: Hands on experience of managing an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function (required) Immediate availability or a short notice period (Up to 1 month) Very strong verbal and written communication skills Resilience, thick skin and adaptability to deal with the change during the contract period Previous experience within a technology or telecommunications business (desirable) This is an excellent opportunity for a Head of Treasury to join a great business with room for improvement and huge future prospects for growth. Ruby Group are looking for a Financial Controller to join a £10 million turnover business located in Central London. This is a newly created role reporting into the CEO. Your responsibilities will be. To produce a full set of monthly management accounts, that include Profit and loss, cash flows forecasts, budgets and variance analysis. Supervising a part qualified accountant. You will manage all aspects of the financial reporting, leading all aspects of year end and statutory accounts production. VAT and corporation returns. You will review and reconcile gross profit to Sales & Operations, review monthly payroll. Manage company Cash flow and working capital expenditure. You will also manage the USA Division. The ideal applicant will be fully qualified in either ACCA, CIMA or ACA and have at least a years post qualified experience. You must have produced a full set of monthly management accounts, successfully closed a year end and produced statutory accounts. Ruby Group are looking for an EMEA Financial Controller to join a FTSE company located in central London. It is a newly created position due to a recent acquisition. The role is reporting to the CFO your responsibilities will be to oversee a team of 24 whilst being a business partner to divisional directors, assisting with the strategic direction and tactical initiatives for the division. Financial and operational modelling to measure impact and practicalities of changes to structure/organic growth-products. Review of the division's commentary on its financial performance in the relevant month and monthly meeting materials and presentations. Preparation and review of budgets, rolling forecasts, KPIs, statutory accounts, incentive schemes and new business plans. Resolution of internal and external audit management letter points. Adhoc operational responsibilities for the division, including optimising sales performance, improving business process efficiencies or specific projects such as systems integration Review of monthly management accounts, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, salespeople commissions, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly headcount tracking reports. Ad hoc analysis and projects: this could include financial due diligence assignments on potential acquisitions, plus internal audits both in the UK and overseas. Providing general financial support for all businesses in the portfolio. This will certainly include improving existing financial systems and controls used within the business portfolio. Adhoc special projects for the CEO, Finance Director or Deputy Finance Director. The ideal applicant will be a qualified ACA/ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or CA with at least 4 years post qualified experience. The ideal candidate will have a good balance of technical and commercial skills who has driven change and streamlined processes. You will have commercial acumen, experience in M&A and have vast experience managing teams of 10+. You will be comfortable interacting with executives and entrepreneurs. Able to communicate professionally and succinctly in both verbal and written form. The role is offering an excellent salary package plus bonus and the possibility of equity.
