Elevation Senior Finance are retained recruitment partners to a Harrogate based, rapidly growing, PE-backed company within the business services sector as they seek to appoint a high calibre Financial Controller. After securing private equity investment, my client has experienced 20% growth for the last 3 years and opened 6 new offices during 2018. With similar growth forecast for the next few years, this is an exciting time to join this fast paced and dynamic business. Due to the rapid growth of the company, the CEO and CFO are looking to further strengthen their finance function with the addition of a Financial Controller. In addition to managing and developing the 12 person finance team, this position will have a focus on driving change within the department and adding value where possible. The successful incumbent will need to review current processes/systems and implement improvements to ensure more accurate and insightful financial information is available to senior management. The CEO is also wanting finance to integrate more effectively in to the wider business and so the Financial Controller will be tasked with introducing business partnering and engaging non-financial managers across the company through closer budget management and the provision of financial support. This PE-backed business are at an exciting period in their life-cycle and so my client is seeking to appoint a qualified accountant who has ambitions to continue their progression and take on additional responsibility as the company grows. Although my client is flexible on the exact experience of candidates, to be successful in this role it is essential that all applicants can demonstrate a strong technical finance grounding, experience of implementing improved processes/systems and a determination to succeed in a fast paced and growing business.

A Head of Technical role within a leading food manufacturer. Reporting directly to the Site Director, managing the Quality and Technical team on site. The Technical Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the technical team ensuring the highest technical standards are achieved. Job Summary The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for determining the strategic direction of the function while ensuring the smooth running of both internal and external production supplies in accordance with customer delivery requirements. The primary focus of the role is to plan and implement all activities relating to the timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory control, capacity planning, distribution and quality control of a wide range of goods. The Head of Supply Chain will recognise when changing business environments, both internal and external, impact the supply chain function, and they will take appropriate steps to maintain the department's effectiveness and efficiency always. As the Head of Supply Chain you will be required to manage people, processes and systems. With help of the department managers, you would be responsible to manage the core departments which make up the supply chain function - purchasing, supply chain, 3pl contracts and warehousing. You will ensure productivity targets are met and implement and maintain administration systems.
