Established for over 25 years the business is based in the UK with a network of offices across Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. As part of the Board, at Director Level you will be in a position that will be able to shape the business going forward. You will take a hands on approach providing insurance surveying services focusing on Indemnity and reinstatement cost asset valuations for insurances including buildings, Utilities and building services, Plant and equipment. Whilst offering Insurance Surveying services you will continually look at opportunities to develop the business further. Being a long established business with a global reach the client base is very strong however there are opportunities within the broker market to develop further, therefore the successful candidates will need to be able to have the ability to grow this area of the business through existing broker contacts. To be considered you must come from an Insurance surveying background working at a senior level. You must be able to combine technical experience with a strong relationship management experience ideally with a focus on the broker market. You will ideally be a Chartered Building Professional - MRICS/MCIOB/CEng or equivalent is strongly desirable. You will be rewarded with a senior level package including shares, dividends, car or car allowance.

The in-house pension administration function of this instantly recognisable brand is looking to hire a Head of Technical Services. Reporting to the Head of Member Services you will be responsible for the management of the Technical Services team, and supporting the wider operation where technical input is required. The team manage all technical output which includes automated/semi-automated calculations, technical responses, project work, legislation updates and any other query or issue of a technical nature related to the administration of the DB schemes. They are also responsible in conjunction with the Legal, Risk & Compliance team for communicating any changes in legislation, and will act as an escalation point for member queries/complaints. The successful individual will have proven technical expertise gained via working in an appropriate role within the pensions industry with a particular focus on DB Pension Schemes. You will need an in-depth knowledge of Scheme Rules and Practices, HMRC Rules and Regulations and Pensions and related employer legislation.
