Our client is a market leading distributor to the retail sector, their current t/o is £7m , the company is a highly profitable division of a European group with ambitious growth plans through acquisitions. With overall responsibility for the company's financial control and reporting, the Financial Director is also responsible for providing commercial insight and assisting in the identification of potential acquisitions. We are looking for a confident and talented FC or FD who is on an upward career trajectory and is seeking a hands on rewarding role with a growing SME. The role will include; Overall responsibility for financial and business controls Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for group Production of statutory information for yearly and interim audit & liaising with auditors Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Control of treasury management including exposure to foreign currencies Prepare and present financial information papers for the board of Directors Maintain and improve cash management strategies including investment financing Work closely with the CEO and senior management team to drive business performance Advising the CEO and directors in improving business performance Provide business and commercial financial analysis on acquisition opportunities

A leading Insurance company with a reputation that proceeds them has a key new opening in their senior management team as Head of Broker Account Managers and Intermediaries. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for a team of Account Managers and Account Execs who in turn will be responsible for their own accounts of Brokers and Intermediaries totalling a GWP of £79 Million with an aim to grow that further. Your role will be split between people management and relationship management with a view to set and develop strategies to ensure continuous growth is achieved whilst managing ongoing relationships with existing business. You will be responsible for profit and loss of the division whilst managing distribution networks. This role is home based however you will need to be able to be in their Birmingham office 2-3 times per week. Costs will be covered for this including overnight accommodation. You will need to be within a 2 hour commuting distance of Birmingham to be considered. To be considered you will be an inspirational leader and relationship Manager with the ability to achieve and exceed business targets for growth. Candidates will be considered from either a personal lines or commercial background working either directly for an Insurer or for a Broker. Candidates without insurance experience will not be considered. You will be rewarded with a senior level package including a 12% car allowance, 30 days holiday, leading pension and a bonus between 16 and 20%.

Head of Finance role and a board level position for a division of a professional services group. This is a high profile role in a business which has undertaken significant investment in IT and the postholder will provide support to the board in the future strategic direction and help set the vision and objectives. You will contribute to the development of the company's strategy, providing financial and commercial input on business decisions, expertise on market opportunities including how to structure commercial fee arrangements and lead the financial implementation and integration of any changes which arise. Our client is regulated business and the postholder will support on compliantly managing the businesses finances ensuring sound financial decision making and provide leadership and direction to operational leads and staff on all financial regulatory matters. This will include ensuring a system is in place to monitor compliance, developing relationships with external regulators and ensure the Statutory Accounts are compliant and in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards. We are looking for a qualified accountant who has operated at FD or Head of Finance level and has a proven track record of providing business-focused solutions that have contributed to a wider commercial agenda. Experience of working within an organisation which operates a time based fee earning model such as an accounting firm or law firm is required.
