This is a high profile role in a business which has undertaken significant investment in IT and the postholder will provide support to the board in the future strategic direction and help set the vision and objectives. You will contribute to the development of the company's strategy, providing financial and commercial input on business decisions, expertise on market opportunities including how to structure commercial fee arrangements and lead the financial implementation and integration of any changes which arise. Our client is regulated business and the postholder will support on compliantly managing the businesses finances ensuring sound financial decision making and provide leadership and direction to operational leads and staff on all financial regulatory matters. This will include ensuring a system is in place to monitor compliance, developing relationships with external regulators and ensure the Statutory Accounts are compliant and in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards. We are looking for a qualified accountant who has operated at FD or Head of Finance level within a law firm and has a proven track record of providing business-focused solutions that have contributed to a wider commercial agenda. Alternatively, there would be a clear career path for an ambitious and driven individual who can join at FC level and be mentored through to the Head of Finance role, again a professional services / law firm background would be required.

They are looking to appoint a Head of Surveying Services Development to establish and develop the brand to be the leaders in the sector. As Head of Surveying Services Development you will be responsible for the growth of the surveying services division and for the contribution to the overall UK strategic growth plan. You will be accountable for a growth plan from £3m to £15m + within a 4 year period. You will therefore need to display evidence of leading specific growth within a similar business. You will be tasked with developing growth of new clients and new markets, you will be a project leader in achieving the desired growth plan. Product development will also be a key part to the role, you will therefore need to have experience within the surveying market. You will also build and recruit a Business Development team who you will subsequently be responsible for.
