I am working with the hiring Director of one of my established clients who is urgently looking for an experienced Telecoms Technical Project Manager & with knowledge of Fibre (FTTP/FTTH) Passive Network Architecture configuration … Ideally based within Midlands or Greater Manchester/N West. My client is widely regarded as one of the UK's largest alternative provider of wholesale fibre network infrastructure. Their mission is to build transformational fibre optic infrastructure for the UK, empowering the UK's economy and society with the objective of transforming the way governments, businesses and consumers communicate. Summary Overview: Reporting into Director level, the primary purpose of Telecoms Technical Project Manager the role is to facilitate a clear focus on the organisation, supply partners and individuals in the delivery of strategic initiatives that will provide step change to our Cost per Property Passed (CPP). Key Duties & Responsibilities: *Build and maintain project plans against actual progress for specified CPP initiatives and technical change projects *Ensure that CPP projects take into account all aspects required to be created or modified in order to deliver the end goal Capex and or Opex cost benefit *Update Project Vision ensuring that a consistent view of project progression, risks and mitigations are seen across the business *Work with activity owners and assist with problem resolution and support issue resolution escalations if appropriate *Ensure that internal and external stakeholders have clarity of their responsibilities and deliverables within projects *Run effective project progression meetings at the appropriate frequency *Work as part of the Passive Architecture Team in the assessment/resolution of operational issues that require architectural interventions *Assist the wider team in the technical and commercial evaluation of new CPP innovations *Install and manage a simple workstack control process Key Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge: *5+ Years' experience in a 'Related' role *Expert level knowledge of FTTH/FTTP 'Passive' network architecture and components *Detailed understanding of FTTH/FTTP 'Active' networks and service platforms *Proven track record in successfully project managing technology/network change initiatives *Solid analytics & mathematical skills *Degree or equivalent business experience *Lead teams and influence others *Coaching and mentoring Pay & Benefits: *Salary (Permanent) c. £60,000 pa *Car Allowance Scheme c. £500 pa *28-Days' holiday, including public holidays pa *Private Medical Insurance (from date of joining) *Employee Assistance Programme (from date of joining) *Contributory Pension (after probationary period with the company matching contributions up to 4%) *Group Income Protection & Group Life Assurance (after 6-months of employment) *Childcare Voucher Scheme *Cycle to Work Scheme For more information, please contact Martin Hazard on , or alternatively submit your CV, together with a short summary detailing specific experience related to fulfilling this challenging and exciting role.
