With a current T/O of £135m, this privately owned business is once again looking to increase its sales force in the UK. The business is internationally known for the manufacture of Roofing Membranes & Flat roofing products, all done in an environmentally friendly manner, from state of the art facilities based all around the globe. The Role As Business Development Manager for the Midlands you will be responsible for representing the brand externally, liaising with architects and main contractors to present the clients cutting edge technologies as the roofing brand of choice. You will also be responsible for being the companies bridge to the main contractors in the south of the UK, you will engage and target these in order to develop framework agreements, and also to key account manage them. You are the front end driving factor of the business in this role, once you have secured the business / written the specification you will then see it through with the specialist approved sub-contractor networks. The Requirements You will be a highly motivated person in the roofing industry currently, ideally flat roofing with technical enough experience to hold CPD's and to address technical questions from architects about projects. You will be commercially minded and outgoing, someone who takes pride in being instrumental in the growth of a company. A good ability to work at fast pace in a highly pressured environment. You must also hold a valid UK Driving licence. You must understand flat roofing systems to apply and be based on patch currently. What's in it for you?
