The team's main focus is Legal Indemnity and Warranty and Indemnity, though this role will focus very much on the W&I side. 60% of the clients are in the UK and 40% in wider-Europe and they include law firms, real estate funds, investors, private equity funds and lenders. There are very established relationships to inherit and a key part of the role will be utilising these in order to secure new business as well as forging new relationships. The MD of the division travels a lot and is often seeing clients so he needs an individual to lead the team in his absence. The team focus on US/Candian wholesale PI/D&O and FI business but the current jobholder also looks after some Latam/Australian accounts as well as some UK retail PI business.
