Business Development Directors will engage with both existing and potential customers, consult with them to identify and understand the implications and opportunities Open Banking/Data represents and identify and articulate how our clients capabilities can be orchestrated to support the achievement of their objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of Open Banking, it's potential applications and our capabilities - be the go-to expert for colleagues and clients. Work in collaboration with Existing colleagues including Go-To-Market Sales and Consultancy to identify and develop Open Banking opportunities with new and existing clients from prospect to contract. Represent our client widely in the marketplace and at industry events - establish a network of influential contacts. Challenge the norm - Open Banking is an enabler of new initiatives and equally a catalyst for re-engineering existing processes. Contribute significantly towards the Open Banking strategic roadmap Maintain and share a comprehensive understanding of the industry, regulations, competitors, use cases. Achieve revenue budgets Essential Significant experience in a highly consultative, business development focussed role Curiosity and intellect to build considerable sector knowledge and swiftly be considered an Open Banking expert by clients, colleagues and industry peers. Consultative skills necessary to translate client ideas and ambitions into practical, viable projects. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join my clients sales team to focus on B2B sales & marketing & database solutions. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to develop their career and to enjoy very high earnings (yes, they have plenty of 50% tax payers on their books). Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following competencies: Sales & Negotiation • Has a proven sales track record ideally in the B2B Marketing industry • Can shape and create customer needs • Measure and communicate progress against targets by accurately and timely reporting/forecasting Relationship Building and Communication • Understands Customer Structures: Utilises senior members of both internal and external customers to further the relationship and strategy • Understanding Customer Buying Criteria: Works across all areas of their customer accounts, using understanding of the implications of personal wins against operational requirements • Understands how to gather customer needs and to help the customer UNDERSTAND the benefits . The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales within the Wealth Life and Pensions vertical, including data services, analytical capabilities and software solutions throughout the customer lifecycle to help our clients achieve their strategic ambitions.
