Main purpose of job: Overall responsibility for the operational delivery of the service requirements for BCA Group Businesses for FM/Projects. Ensure controlled management of FM spend and capital expenditure against pre-agreed budgets across multiple Group companies. Regular interaction with the Procurement team in relation to performance against budgets and formal supplier reviews. Responsible for collation of data and review of current compliance within the Group in relation to FM. Main Responsibilities: HNC or equivalent (M&E), with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role Ideally Minimum 10 years' experience of budget management Working knowledge of P & L Accounts Recent successful experience of controlling business in excess of £10m Experience of working closely with Procurement for supplier sourcing and management. IT literate FM Management Information Systems, MS Word and Excel & MS Project 10 years' project management experience in dealing with sub-contractors and supply chain 5 years' experience of successful process management Mobile to travel between sites Technical Competencies Experience of automotive or related industry Proven track record in successful people management Previous experience working for large multi-national organisations Valid formal Health & Safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH Recent successful experience of negotiations with clients and exercising diplomacy Experience in successfully working in a pressured and stressful environment Minimum of 7 years' experience in Facilities Management preferably with an M&E background Operational understanding of facilities maintenance and building services within a client focused environment Extensive experience in managing a large multi-disciplined workforce Key Result Areas Financial Management Working closely with Procurement team to ensure adherence against financial budgets and support formal tendering and supplier review process. Cost control and challenge to individual business lines concerning ongoing and emergency site maintenance. Working closely with Divisional Finance teams to ensure financial goals are aligned Programme Management Management of planned maintenance delivery and life-cycle programme Management of reactive maintenance delivery and incidental works Ensure best value management techniques within contract Development of contract delivery strategy, providing demonstrable operational benefits. Networking Development of relations and collaboration with BCA representatives to ensure delivery of contract Liaison with Core Works team to ensure integration of Core Works and Services. Supply Chain Jointly responsible for management of supply chain partners. Continuous Improvement Liaison with the Continuous Improvement Team Ensure application of Continuous Improvement Techniques within the area. Compliance & Fraud Fraud awareness Provide audit role to ensure adherence to processes Responsible for ensuring compliance with BCA policies on Health & Safety, Quality Assurance & Environment. Budget Management Responsible for contract resources and budget management using open-book approach. Drive out efficiencies and generate savings and best value solutions Performance Management Responsible for collation of data and review of current compliance within the Group in order to collate to central database Risk Management Responsible for risk management delivery.
