Senior Internal Auditor Location: London Salary: £Competitive + Bonus + Benefits Overview: This role is for an experienced Internal Auditor looking to go into an organisation and add value though delivery of adequate, effective and efficient audits. The organisation is looking for someone with experience of financial auditing, a strong background in evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of business process and internal control systems and an interest in making a serious contribution to the company's future. As you conduct each audit you will work alongside the Audit Managers testing controls and providing sound recommendations to the business in order to minimise risk and improve efficiency. You will be given the opportunity to build relationships with senior stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an auditor to gain exposure to the insurance sector, working within a large internal audit team. Role Description: Planning & execution of operational/financial audits Working independently and/or as part of an integrated team delivering high quality audits across the group function. Reporting findings and advising of actions to stakeholders/audit committee. High level of interaction across all managerial areas of the business. Supporting colleagues, Managers and Chief Internal Auditors with tasks, including: Annual audit plans, Continuous risk assessments Committee reporting Quality control through coaching and mentoring Skills & Abilities: Accounting or audit qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent) 2 years+ experience in an Internal/External audit role Experience of working closely with people on a day to day basis Ability to write and deliver reliable audit findings and recommendations. Strong communication skills to be able to challenge stakeholders/audit committee confidently and with integrity.
