The Head of Merchandising will be required to implement core merchandising processes within a well known online brand. As Head of Merchandising you work alongside the Head of Buying to manage trading of the product, as well as overseeing an owning OTB, WSSI, and stock management. Client Details The client are a well known online retail brand based in Central London. Description As Head of Merchandising you will be responsible for Leading the merchandising function across all trading platforms including online and concessions Utilising category and market analysis to create a Supply strategy that will maximise long-term opportunities and competitive advantage Implement Merchandising processes and principles, managing senior stake holders and merchandising team Planning and forecasting, trading, and team management Establish and foster relationships to improve commercial partnerships, long-term flow of goods and product opportunities Maximise long-term commercial opportunities and minimise areas of risk, acting on performance analysis and sound judgement and change management You will lead the business functions to achieve Budget and Latest Estimate KPI's, Sales, Stock and Margin alongside leading and coaching the Merchandising team to maintain high levels of growth, performance and working practices Profile The Successful Head of Merchandising will Have an incredible track record of operating at Head of Merchandising or Merchandising Manager level Be a highly analytical individual who is organised, methodical and efficient, with excellent judgement, communication, confidence and decision-making skills Be able to draw upon previous experience and implement a robust, yet flexible and adaptable merchandising process to suit a growing pureplay business Have experience of delivering results within a Merchandising capacity Have a strong customer, market awareness, as well as having a passion for the product Be an innovative commercial thinker - supporting business efficiency, improvements, and growth needs Be a pro-active problem solver and analyst through strong absorption of information and effective cooperation Be able to build and develop relationships with other internal teams for functional and personal development Have E-commerce experience ideally, however this is not essential Be able commute to London Job Offer The Successful Head of Merchandising will be working in one of the most ambitious, innovative and exciting online retail brands, working with some ambitious, bright and forward thinking minds!
