Job Title: Business Analyst Duration: Ajilon Consultant (See below) Location: Bromley Interviews: 2 weeks Start: October/November Key Skills & Experience: Legal Governance Project Manager Compliance Stakeholder Management The Role: The technology team in EMEA supports the Global Transaction Services business, including payments, credit, trade finance, customer accounting and reporting. A number of transformation programmes are in progress to migrate the functionality from a legacy platforms to a modern platform using a combination of best of breed vendor packages and in-house built solutions. The Business Analyst acts as a bridge between the Business and Technology groups working closely with Change Managers, Product/Client managers, Operations and Technology teams. The Business Analyst proactively ensures requirements definition and delivery meet the key objectives of the product or change. The Business Analyst will translate the requirements in to functions and user stories following the banks agile methodology that will be used by technology to develop the solution. The Business Analyst will work with the business and technology to document the non-functional requirements. Although a Business Analyst will be skilled in various analysis techniques and tools the key aspect of the role centres on strong analytical, communication and organisational abilities. Responsibilities Help business and operations to identify and formulate change needs and Business Cases Assess the impact and scope of the change Write or review business functions and user stories (we will be following an agile development methodology) Capture, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements for a given project Develop complete and accurate business models including process, data and organisational Ensure Technology and Operational teams fully understand the requirements, scope and objectives through full collaboration and interactive process during the project lifecycle Liaise between the business units, technology teams, delivery and support teams to arrive at optimal solutions. Collaborate with Architects, Developers and Subject Matter Experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Involved from initial concept through to final implementation tracking that the design, build, testing and implementation meet the business product, functional and operational requirements Assist Test Managers in formulating Test Strategy for the various test phases. Review of Test Plans/Scenarios to ensure maximum coverage of functional requirements Support the business through the implementation process. This can include support for: Communication Plans, Training Plans, Conversion Plans. Installation and Process planning Ensure correct use of enterprise-wide requirements definition/management systems, methodologies,toolkits and process standards throughout the project life-cycle Essential Skills Ability to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis Can critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously Strong analytical and creative thinking skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements **Ajilon Consultant** You will be an integral part of Ajilon (Adecco), a FTSE500 Global organisation with over 52 clients and sole supplier to the biggest organisations in the country and the world.
