The incumbent individual will be leading all efforts around on-boarding both new and existing clients / partners, in order to implement one of the most impressive mobile solutions on the market. This person will have a greenfield opportunity in which to lead and develop the Onboarding function with a healthy team of analysts working underneath them, as well as being the link between engineering / development teams and commercially astute activity. Experience working within the Mobile Payments / IoT / Digital arena is essential and a background within smart ticketing / smartcards would be highly advantageous. Equally, experience in the banking or FMCG industry would be relevant. Responsibilities Effectively applies Project Management methodology. Manages the day-to-day operational, technical and commercial aspects of all on-boarding projects across all internal and external stakeholders. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing requirements. Defines and implements appropriate governance and controls for effective project management, delivering the right outcomes on time. Manages resources in conjunction with customers, third party managers and sub-contractors Reviews and reports on the schedules and deliverables across projects to the Exec. Manages risks and issues across multiple on-boarding projects through mitigation planning. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately (including for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures). Skills, Knowledge and Experience A proven track record in delivering multi stakeholder, technically complex projects (10 years' experience in Program/Project Management). Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Proven experience managing up, down and across the organisation. Skilled and experienced in dealing with customers and suppliers at all levels of seniority. Facilitates team and client meetings effectively and holds regular status meetings with project team. Keeps executive team informed of project progress and cost status. A background in mechanical, electrical or Information Technology engineering preferred. The role: GDPR Project Manager A global retailer are looking to recruit an experienced programme manager to take forward its GDPR Technical Remediation Programme. This role requires someone with credibility at the Senior Leadership Level as well as the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels at the appropriate level of detail. The programme has already completed some of the necessary discovery and design for GDPR remediation but significant work remains in this area. In addition there is the implementation and delivery of GDPR remediation projects through multiple teams who often have conflicting priorities. Teams are located in the UK, India and Central Europe but the role is predominantly UK based with occasional travel. Basic tracking and management reporting is in place but requires improvement and it also needs to evolve to provide clear and effective tracking of progress on remediation tasks, compliance and risk reduction.
